Christmas Tree Decorating!

Thanksgiving Weekend

We had a great Thanksgiving weekend with all of our family. It was so great to be together and share laughs and even a few tears. We all had a blast playing bowling on the Wii. I think we found some new entertainment. :-) Sean and I even loved it so much we bought one for ourselves. Of course we purchased the Wii Fit along with it so I can get back into shape. So far I'm on Day 2 and love it! :-)

We did some Black Friday shopping. Sean and I headed out at 4am. Stopped at Target, Kmart, Toys R Us, and then to the mall. We got some awesome deals! And the best part is our Christmas shopping is almost done! YAY!

It's sad to see this long weekend come to an end but so glad we had such a great weekend!

Payten Elisabeth ~ 21 Months

21 months already? Where is the time going? I know I always say that but its soo true! The months just keep flying by. Payten is up to lots these days. Saying new words, such as good girl, pretty tree, Corgy, Roxy, and a few others. I can't believe how much she has grown these past few months! Here are a few new pictures of our princess.

Packing for 6!

Yup, that's right packing for SIX! Sean, Payten, Camryn, Corgy, Roxy, and me! And boy is there a lot of luggage, and just think we are only going away for a few days. But of course Camryn has the most these days. I totally forgot how many things a newborn needs. After spending two days on this task I am almost done. Thank goodness!

We are heading down south to spend Thanksgiving weekend with my parents and family, with that said I won't be blogging much.... We wish you all a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday! Make sure you eat lots of turkey! Gobble gobble! :-)

Another Weekend Gone By... :-(

Another weekend has come and gone. :-( Why do they go so fast? I ask myself this every week. Whether we are busy or just hanging around they just seem to fly right by. This was one of our busy weekends.

Friday morning we had playdate with
Ally & Kim. Payten had fun playing with Ally. We definitely have to do it again soon! In the evening we had dinner with Dana and Doug. We were long overdue to spend time with them! We met them at our usual place of choice, Olive Garden. :-) It's one of my favs! They had a new entree on the menu and I figured I would give it a try. It was ravioli with cream sauce & shrimp. I was looking forward to trying something new, well it was a total disappointment. :-( It was so spicy, I took two bites and just couldn't take anymore. So luckily the waitress was nice enough to have them bring me out a new one, this time I played it safe and went with the Fettuccine Alfredo. After dinner we headed over to a few of the new stores in Clermont. The guys went to GameStop of course and Dana and I headed into Michael's. They were having a pretty good sale. I picked up some frames for our new staircase project. With all these new pictures of the girls I needed more spots to hang them. I'll post pictures of my finished product.
Saturday was a crazy day for us. We woke up bright and early and headed to Target for some Christmas photos. I figured since it's Camryn's first Christmas we would have them done. I wasn't too sure how Payten would do since picture taking doesn't seem like her thing lately but I figured what did I have to lose. The pictures actually went a lot better then expected. We did get a cute one of Payten kissing Camryn. And a great one of each of the girls. After that extravaganza, we headed over to Chuck E Cheese to meet Rylie and her parents. Payten had a fun playdate with Rylie. We must do it again soon. Payten was pooped after Chuck E Cheese, so we took a stroll in the mall, and believe it or not Payten actually feel asleep in the stroller. She never does that, I was shocked!
Today has been one of those catch up days around the house. It's rainy and gloomy so we are hanging home today.

Hope everyone had a great weekend! And if I don't get to post before Thanksgiving, have a safe holiday!!!

Thursday already?

I can't believe it's Thursday already. This week has really flown by. I thought the weeks went by fast when I was working but they seem to fly by even faster when I'm not. :-( Today was a relaxing day at home. We did some organizing of the girls closets. Tried on some clothes to see what fits them and what needs to be put away. They have way too many clothes!!! LOL. Of course its my fault because I love to shop for them, but its just so much fun.

Sean has been busy working the Casino parties so we have been taking advanta
ge of spending time with the Ellison crew. We had dinner with them last night. We ordered the Chili's 2 for $20 deal, and let me tell you I tried this amazing salad, Quesadilla Explosion, sooo yummy! It's definitely worth trying!!! The kiddies played while Tammy and I got some adult time. It's always nice to have adult conversions especially when home all day with a 21 month old that doesn't much other then Dada, no, apple, thank you.... :-)

Amy Robertson posted a few more pictures of the girls session. All I can say is AM
AZING! She is so talented and look forward to her capturing more moments of my girls. :-)

Shower Time for Payten!

Payten has always been a huge fan of bath time. But today we decided to let her try a shower. And boy did she love it! She was too funny! See below.. :-)

Manic Monday

I use to dread Monday's but with not working I don't dread them .... I am sure when I go back to work in 6 weeks I will, but for now I am loving spending time with my girls. Not too was much planned for us today. Catching up on laundry and housework was a must since it feels like its never ending. Our Christmas decor is slowly making it up. Payten and her Daddy worked on decorating her tree. It was adorable. She says "Tree, weee"... Haha. She is too cute!

Happy Monday all! :-)

Another weekend gone by...

How do the weekends go by so fast? It's so sad that we look forward to the weekends and then before you know it, its all over :-( But we had a great weekend.

Saturday morning we had a picture session with Amy Robertson. She took some amazing shots of Payten. See post below for a few teasers. :-) The pictures wore Pay
ten out, so we headed home for a nap and lunch then headed down to Orlando. We did some Christmas shopping (had some great sales), and then we headed to Monkey Joe's. We have been considering having Payten's 2nd Birthday there but we wanted her to try it out first. Well, she wasn't a huge fan. As long as Sean and I were with her she was fine but that will be hard to do and run a birthday party so we have decided to look into some other options... so the hunt continues.

Sunday it was a relaxing day around the house. We
worked on putting up our Christmas decor. I know its early but we usually do it Thanksgiving weekend but since we will be in South Florida spending it with my parents I figured we would do it this weekend. Everything is done except the outside lights and decorating the tree. :-) In the evening, Camryn and I headed to Amy's house for a continued picture session. A few teasers from that session are below. Hope everyone had a great weekend!

Shopping & Chick-Fil-A!

Tammy and I survived a day out with 6 kids under the age of 5! And the kids managed to not break one thing while we were out, woo hoo! After our shopping extravaganza we headed over to Chick-Fil-A for some lunch and to let the kiddies run around in the playground. Payten had a blast! She all of a sudden is a dare devil and climbs on all the slides and things in the playground.

Tomorrow is picture day. Always a stressful day, well for me not the girls. I am praying the weather stays cooler so we are not sweating. I will be sure to post some of the proofs.

Have a great weekend!

Craziness!

It's been a few days since I have blogged. So much to do and just not enough time.... I know, no excuse.. hehe.

Monday and Tuesday we hung out at home. The girls and I did manage to go to a few stores but nothing too exciting. Just hanging out and enjoying the cooler weather! :-)

Today we had some visitors. Our cousin's Nicole and Scott are visiting from New York, so they came by for a visit. Payten had a blast coloring with Scott and learning her colors. We are so glad they had a chance to stop by. Not too much new going on here. Getting ready for Christmas? I can't believe its almost that time already. I have started Christmas shopping and the decorations will be up soon. Stay tuned for some pictures.

Of course I can't post without pictures, so here are a few new ones of the girls. :-)

I can't wear PINK everyday!

Isn't this shirt the cutest? Thank you Braelyn for letting us borrow it! :-)

Shopping, Shopping, and more Shopping!

We have done lots of shopping these past few days. Yesterday Dana joined the girls and I to a trip to the Florida Mall. We were on a hunt for outfits for our pictures next weekend. What an ordeal! Who knew it would be so hard to find outfits for the girls, geesh!

My journey continued on Saturday with Tammy. We headed to a few stores around our house. We even managed to get some great after Halloween sales. 90% off, just can't beat it. Needless to say the Hogan's will be having a Halloween party next year :-) One for the adults and one for the kiddies. :-)

Not too many big plans for the weekend. Just relaxing around the house and catching up on some housework. I have been slacking with my picture taking but I promise I will post new pictures of the girls soon.

A day at the park!

Yesterday was supposed to be a day at the park but after story time at the library we had to make an unexpected visit to the Urgent Care. Payten had nursesmaid elbow. Once the nurse practitioner popped it back into place Payten was good as new. Thank goodness. A little traumatizing but glad she is back to her old self! So today we headed to the park with the Ellison Clan. We are enjoying this cooler weather and hope to get here more often now that it's cooling off, FINALLY! :-)

Payten exploring the fun things at the park!

Camryn enjoying the outdoors!

Case and Payten checking out the fun rides!

Davis & Colt having fun!

4 weeks already?!?

Happy 4 weeks Camryn Brooke! I can't believe its been 4 weeks already since you came into our family. Time is sure flying by but we are loving watching you grow.

Go GIANTS & PACKERS!

It's another football day around the Hogan house. We spent all afternoon rooting on our teams (G-Men and Packers), however both teams lost. :-( Boo! So I guess we'll have to yell a little louder next week so we can get some win's!
