Buying a house = Frustrating

Who would have known that this would be a longggggggggg drawn out process?! NOT ME! It's been about six weeks since we put a bid in on this house. The bank has "verbally" accepted our offer but now we wait for the final approval. Ugh! They call these short sales but they should rename them to LONG sales! Geez! I wouldn't be in such a rush if my house didn't have boxes and look like a total disaster but I am not sure how much longer I can live like this before I lose my mind! I am praying we get the final approval soon and a real closing date! Stay tuned!

In the meantime, here are a few pictures of the new house. . . Please excuse the pictures, not taken with the best camera and its hard to take pictures of just walls... haha.

Tell Us Something Good: Teachers

It's a new blog hop!!! Tell us Something Good hosted by The Life of Rylie and Bryce too! and Angelica's Awesome Adventures! This is such a great idea because sometimes all I feel like I do is complain when actually there are a lot of good things that happen around here!

I had enrolled Payten this past August in school and at first I was a little leary on sending her. But it is by far one of the BEST decisions I have ever made! I can not believe how much she has grown over the past 9 months. It is amazing! Her teachers are just awesome and I am so grateful that she has had them to teach her all these wonderful things!

Easter Day

WARNING: Picture overload!!

We had a great Easter! The Easter bunny spoiled the girls rotten! After opening Easter baskets and getting ready, we headed over to Chef Mickey's for a yummy brunch with Mickey Mouse and his pals. Payten of course LOVED seeing all the characters and getting her picture with them. Camryn on the other hand wanted NO part of it and wanted them to go away so she could enjoy her food. LOL. After brunch, we went for a boat ride with the Stuart family! We had a blast! Such a fun day with family and friends! This is a definite must for next year as well! This was our 2nd year doing a brunch at Disney for Easter and its been great both years!

Hope everyone had a wonderful holiday!

Easter Egg Decorating

This was Payten's second year of decorating Easter Eggs and its amazing how much she has changed in a year. Check out last years post. . 2010 Easter Egg Decorating. Of course this year she loved it even more. And this year even came with two pretty big messes but not even those could have ruined how much fun Payten had. I can't wait until next year, Camryn will be bigger and be about to join the fun.

Payten's Class Easter Egg Hunt/Party

Have I mentioned how much I loved Payten's school? They have the cutest little parties for the kids and her teachers are just amazing! They put some much detail into everything and I love it! First we started the day off with a egg hunt in the playground and then headed in her classroom for some yummy "sugar" filled treats. Each kid took home a BIG bag of goodies and of course we didn't even make it to the truck before Payten started tearing into hers!

Off to the playground for the egg hunt!

And off they go. . .
